Lahore (News Reporter) The 2-day fourth annual national conference organized by the Federal Ombudsman for Insurance was held at the regional office, in which the department's performance of the previous and current year was reviewed and a briefing was given on the redressal of public complaints related to insurance companies. was given. All regional heads of the department, advisors, consultants and CEOs of insurance companies participated in the conference. In the conference chaired by Federal Ombudsman for Insurance Dr. Khawar Jameel and hosted by Regional Advisor in-charge Lahore Abdul Basit Khan, the need to speed up measures to provide quick and speedy justice to the complainants regarding insurance companies was emphasized. Abdul Basit Khan told the conference that the Federal Ombudsman for Insurance is making relief possible within 60 days by addressing the complaints of the business community and other complainants. In this regard, special measures are being taken to create awareness among the public. Dr. Khawar Jameel and Abdul Basit Khan said that 5736 complaints were registered in the Federal Ombudsman for Insurance in the last one year, out of which 5017 complaints were resolved immediately. 2.73 billion rupees relief was given to the complainants during one year.
